Media Camps
A Digital
Access Project
Since
2000, Digital Access has designed and run summer media camps,
with mostly volunteer support. Partners have included the Minneapolis
Park and Rec Board, Minneapolis Public Libraries, Girls and Boys
Clubs, YWCA and YMCA, and other non-profit agencies.
2005
projects included youth iMovie and DVD productions, a photoshop
scrabook project,
and photoshop calendars.
TechQuest
is a WRAP!
Working
in collaboration with the Minneapolis YWCA, this exciting project
introduces technology to girls aged 8-12 in a fun and creative environment.
This
years 4 day camp, held at Dunwoody Institutes Printing and Graphics
facilities, featured ample opportunity for experimenting with technology
tools through a hands-on creative project developing a magazine
using Photoshop.
